Gerda began her career at Sanlam in 1991, accumulating over 30 years of expertise in the financial services industry. With extensive experience in life insurance, investments, group & employee benefits, medical aid, gap cover, and taxation, she has a wealth of knowledge. Since joining our team in 2006, Gerda has become an associate and certified financial planner. She manages her own clients and leads the Product Advice and Implementation division.

She acquired a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with University of Stellenbosch in 2017. Additionally, she also holds the prestigious Certified Financial Planner® designation and is a member of the Financial Planning Institute of South African. She is also a registered tax practitioner and member of the South African Institute of Taxation.

When not at work, Gerda enjoys quality time with her husband, friends, and family. She’s a bit of a foodie and loves beautifully presented, delicious meals.
