During her high school years, Anna helped her entrepreneur dad with his business operations, administrative tasks, and financial records, discovering her talent for business administration and financial record-keeping.

After earning her Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Pretoria, Anna began her career with a well-known South African mobile communications company. She then joined one of the world’s largest lessors of intermodal containers in the position as accountant. During this time, she completed her Honors degree in Financial Accounting through the University of South Africa while studying part-time.

She later joined PwC to fulfill her articles. Anna successfully completed the SAICA professional exams in 2001. She is a proud member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Registered Auditor (RA). Following this, she moved her focus from the corporate environment to specialised accounting/audit/tax in private practice. Anna gained valuable experience in accounting practices in Somerset West and Durbanville before becoming part of the Financial Hub in 2007, being the founding member of the Accounting and Audit practice in the Financial Hub.

Anna’s interest in the accounting field was sparked by its precision, but her passion goes beyond debits and credits. She finds great joy in the relationships and interactions, enjoying daily connections with clients, colleagues, and team members. Engaging with people from diverse backgrounds, building relationships, mentoring others, assisting clients in interpreting financial information to support wise business decisions are a few of the highlights in her day.

When she’s not crunching numbers or consulting with clients, she enjoys gardening, helping to make a difference at various charity organisations she is involved with and spending time with her husband Stephan and their three boys.
