Erlo discovered his love for numbers early in life, inspired by entrepreneurs and fascinated by business success. This curiosity led him on a journey through various industries.

After completing his articles with PwC, he gained experience as a financial manager in the agricultural, construction, fast-moving consumer goods, and small retail sectors. Here, he realised his potential to add value as an advisor on operations, accounting, taxation, and financial decisions for small to medium business owners.

In 2012, Erlo returned to private practice, joining an accounting and audit firm in Stellenbosch as a Director, specialising in taxation and accounting.

Erlo holds a Bachelor’s in Financial Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch, an Honors degree in Financial Accounting from the University of South Africa, and a Higher Diploma in Tax from the same university. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and a Registered Auditor (RA).

Being an extrovert, Erlo enjoys spending time with people and building relationships with clients and team members. His greatest gifts are finding effective solutions to problems and his attention to detail.

In his free time, Erlo enjoys watching sports, reading (even on tax matters sometimes 😕), loves animals, and is a huge Star Wars fan.
