Adv. SJ Vermeulen

From an early age, SJ Vermeulen knew he wanted to make a real impact on the lives of others. His journey began in 1993 when he joined the South African Police Service (SAPS), driven by a deep sense of duty to protect his community and safeguard the innocent. But he soon realised that his ability to create lasting change could be even greater as a legal officer.

SJ pursued his studies, earning a B.Proc degree in 1999 and an LLB in 2002, paving the way for his legal career. In 2003, he left SAPS to focus on his young family, and his passion for business soon led him to launch his own consumer goods distribution business, where he gained invaluable experience before returning to his legal roots.

In 2008, he joined a Risk & Legal Management firm in Cape Town, specialising in estate planning, trust and estate administration. Then, in 2010, SJ became a valued member of the FinHub team, bringing a unique combination of legal expertise, business acumen, and a deep commitment to his clients.

SJ thrives on the diversity of cases he handles, but for him, the true reward is bringing clarity, direction, and peace of mind to those he serves.
